Hey guys im running a regular Macbook with Tiger still installed. Going to upgrade to leopard soon.. Anyways.. i was going to backup my system before i upgrade. I have SuperDuper. Well... i tried backing up my entire disk but after about half an hour, it said that it failed. Any suggestions as to why? Thanx

Could be a lot of reasons actually... corrupt files, bad sectors on the disk, etc.

I prefer Carbon Copy Cloner, and you might go to VersionTracker to get it and see if you have any better luck

Run repair on your disk, more than likely you have some bad sectors, files, etc. SuperDuper and Carbon Copy Cloner both will fail if there are disk errors.

Regards.

i tried to repair.. but the button is not clickable.. someone said this is because i can't repair while i boot using the drive? if this is so then how do i repair it?
