To make a long story short my bank recently was transitioned to another bank, PNC. They were supposed to send me a debit card a while ago and I never received it. I called them today so they can reissue a new one. She assured me that my current debit card would be unaffected.

Well just 20 minutes ago I got an email from Apple saying my payment was declined and if I don't send payment within a week my order is canceled!

My iPhone has already shipped, but I'm kind of scared I won't get it.... What do I do?? I can't change my payment method online and CS is closed.

Here's a copy of the email:

The iPhone 4 has already posted to my account but the dock hasn't... Maybe this notice was just for the dock, even though it's not due to ship til July 2nd.

Will waiting til tomorrow to clear this up (since I have no choice) screw up my order and maybe delay my iPhone?

I hate my new bank and I'm closing my accounts ASAP!

So you make a post here?

Talk to your bank. :)

Believe me, I tried calling every number. Customer service closed. :( I tried sending an email, but you know that'll be at least a day.

Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.

They're gonna snatch your phone off the plane in Alaska like a hodgie trying to blow up his fruit of the looms!!!!

I'm glad my phone shipped... but Apple can make FedEx hold it or send it back or something is what I'm wondering and worried about. I'll just call Apple tomorrow and give them a different credit card number. What a mess... Thanks new bank.

It's gone, watch Fox News, Sara Palin will be flaunting your phone.

That sucks. Seeing you have a week dont worry just make payment tomorrow.

I'm glad they put I get a week or else I'd REALLY be freaking out right now. Hopefully I can just call Apple tomorrow and explain they canceled my debit card and they'll take a new card and all will be well...

And hopefully my stupid bank can reactivate my debit card! Those do come in handy...

You should start making plans to move to another bank--preferably a credit union. Although it'll take months to make the move, it'll be worth it.
