I have a 2008 MBP ( I know it is a relic) running Lion 10.7.5. I am out of memory and I am in the process of trying to clean it out. It is not letting me do a back up as it will not recognize the drive I am using (G Drive purchased from Apple store) which I have already used once before to back it up. Ultimately I want my G drive to be on my router to serve as a network drive so I hooked it into that. So-

1. How do I find a drive on my wireless router?

Or-

2. What do I have to do to get my MBP to recognize the drive so I can at least back it up before I start clearing things out?

Thanks.

1 - Unplug all drives.
2 - Reboot

3 - Next time you post, try to make the TITLE a bit more descriptive, something other than HELP?

Feel better? Next time I will pick a better title if you promise to give better advice than a reboot. Deal?

How do I log into the router?

Sorry, but reboot is often overlooked, even by the nerds. Just had to throw that out there.

No offense. Just advice.

[MOD NOTE]
I updated the title to make it more descriptive.

OP, you could have edited the title, choosing a title of help does not provide the level of description that will give your thread the exposure to get the most people reading it.
