Hi all, im having a spot of bother with my apple watch. basically, it lost connection, and trying to get it to reconnect wasn't successful. I took to the internet and found countless suggestions to unpair it, reset my watch and re pair it. I did that, unpaired it, reset the watch, but my problem is it wont re pair again. It asks for my language settings etc and asks me to scan it with my phone, but nothing happens. When clicking on pairing it manually, it goes to the screen with the code on, but on the phone theres nothing in the devices list. My phone just doesnt pick up my watch. I've checked literally everything i can think of, bluetooth and wifi are both on, i just dont know what else to do. Anybody else have a fix?

Have you tried turning airplane mode off and then on again on both the phone and watch? to soft reset the wireless hardware

and if that doesn't work, try rebooting your phone

yeah tried all the straight forward things, airplane mode off and on, bluetooth off and on, rebooting phone and watch on multiple occasions, hard resetting both the phone and watch, not sure what else to try

Im not sure if this would help but is the watch charged up? Maybe putting watch on charger and try pairing? Seems that's the only thing you haven't tried.

Yeah the watch has been fully charged, still no luck. I tried to pair it with other phones to see if it was my phone that is the issue, but nothing recognises it. Its almost like its gone invisible after the factory reset, i don't know what else to try

Is your phone on the latest iOS? It may not be your issue, but my mom recently tried pairing an Apple Watch and it did the same as you described, and after she updated her iOS, it worked

Yeah it's on the latest version. Tried pairing it on 3 different phones with the same result, absolutely nothing happens when using the camera and doesn't appear on the phone when trying manually

I wonder if the wireless chip in the Watch is just broken. If Bluetooth isn't working, it just can't pair :(
