help! can't read .asx files on safari

hey all

no matter what i try i cannot read .asx files in safari or firefox. is this just a known mac incompatibility?

It's Windows Media, so I'd say no.

Try downloading this;

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/wmcomponents.mspx

It should allow quicktime to play it although I can't guarantee it will work. Do you have a link to what you are trying to play?
