Help (Can't Update Apps)

I can't update any apps.

It says cannot connect to itunes store.

I can dl new apps.

I tried different networks.

Itunes on Mac cannot download updates either.

Phone cannot either.

Account problem?

Just checked to update my iPad and iTunes tells me cannot connect to update server. I'm in the UK.

Perhaps 4.2 is coming today But then again maybe not

Edit : Looks like its a maybe not then, can now access update server

I've just checked and my iPad is updating Apps as I type this. I'm in the UK too.

Jim,

I had a similar problem and resolved it by a reset. I'm not talking about turning the iPad off and on. I mean, hold down the home and power buttons together at the same time even during and after the red arrow to shut down appears. Hold them both until you see the silver apple appear, then let go.

I have exactly the same problem and I have tried RobT's solution with no success, did it work for you?
I'm not too worried at the moment as I am hoping that the ios4 update will sort the problem out when it is released.
