Hi everyone,

I currently have a 13 Pro which I will be gifting to a family member, while I order a new 14 Pro. I'm just wondering if you think it would be worth going to the Pro Max size. I have fairly large hands so I don't think that would be a huge issue, and in this post-Covid world I feel like I spend 80% of my time on my phone inside my home.

The only issue I could see is that I'm a daily runner and running with a Max size could get annoying. Opinions appreciated, thank you.

The Pro Max would be too big for me when going to the gym and out and about, etc… I also don’t wear clothing that’s baggy so it would be so obvious that I am carrying a phablet sized phone. I would go with the Pro which would be the largest size thats suitable for someone such as myself.

I am trying to decide the same thing. I have always been a iphone plus size owner, but last year, I went with the 13 pro because I was getting tired of the heft and size (my pinkies would start to get sore after sitting on the phone texting all day). I love the size of the pro, but HATE the battery life. I really miss the feeling of not having to worry about my phone battery dying.

I have the max size phone and I will say it's nice for the screen but not so convient in a pocket. If you're running it would have to be in jacket pocket.

If your accustomed to the 6.1" size with iPhone Pro and the larger 6.7" size interferes with the exercise, perhaps you should be thinking of pairing your potential iPhone Pro purchase with another Apple product for keeping yourself entertained in the house? (iPad Air/Pro or MBA)

Plug it in sometime midday just for a short period. You can even get fast chargers for the car now.

Yeah I have a Macbook Pro for anything work related or videos, that's a great point.

Do you have an iPad or iPad mini? If you're not a total screen snob an iPad mini would be great. I actually gave away my iPad mini because I have the max size phone and it didn't feel different enough for me to grab it when I wanted to watch YouTube or whatever. If I had a smaller phone I would have kept it. There are times I thought about just getting an iPhone mini because I'm tired of a huge phone.

My partner has an iPad Pro, and I occasionally use it but I feel like I end up preferring my phone more for couch use hahaha. I've never owned a Max size phone though so it's hard to say. Maybe I should just live with both sizes and return if I don't like it...

Hubby is a runner and he’s requested a smaller phone from his 11 pro max so he’s getting a 14 pro. It’s mainly the size that doesn’t fit in some shorts but also the weight. He has an 11” iPad Pro that he uses most of the time.

Well the iPad Pro is quite large especially the 12.9”. I have an iPad Air which is the same size as the smaller iPad Pro. I like it for watching movies or if I know I’m going to do a lot of web browsing. If I’m just checking something real quick I’ll use my phone. I find watching videos even if it’s just a short YouTube video not so good on a small screen. Even the max size phone feels small. Of course I think maybe that’s just me because I’ve seen people with mini sized phones watching entire movies.

I have a 13 Pro, but with the island expanding the way it does, I’m going 14 pro Max, so my real estate isn’t overtaken by much.

Yeah battery is the most important thing , was thinking going smaller since I’ve been with the plus and max for a while, but this comment reminds me why I keep the bigger phone, bigger battery !

I'd be very curious to try the battery of a PM model...

Couldn't watch a movie on a Mini model hahaha my partner has the 13 mini and it certainly feels amazing in your pocket, but not when browsing content.

Get the pro max, then get an Apple Watch for music and fitness tracking while running. :) get the cellular version if you need connectivity.

My 13PM battery is the best I’ve ever had. I’m sure that’s the same for most people.

Looks incredible! I have a Garmin for running but it’s true Apple Watch would be a lot better for music…
