I am currently using latest version of Catalina in my cMP 5,1. I like the design of Big Sur so I want to update. As other thread suggested, I first upgraded OP to 0.6.3 and other ktexts to the latest stable version. Then keep VMM on, UpdateSMBIOS false. Then just simply click upgrade. After downloading the "Install Big Sur", let it finish creating boot driver. The cmp is automatically restarted and entered the Big Sur installation driver. However, at this stage, the cmp stuck on the white apple logo forever, there is no any progress bar. Luckily, I can force restart the computer and get back to the original Catalina disk. I retried this process several time, still same. Can anyone help me with this?

My cMP configuration:
2 ssd: one internal ssd installed windows and another external m2 ssd installed Catalina.
CPU: dual Intel X5690
GPU: AMD 5700
