HELP! Computer Name greyed out

Hi,
after trying now for several days I'm arrived at the end of my knowledge!
I have a MacBook Air and admin rights, but I can't change the computer name since it is greyed out!!!

Damn! Help needed!

Computer name where? Under Sharing? internal drive name? Admin name?

Please be more specific or include screen shot (Shift++4)

In system preferences>accounts click on the lock in the bottom left and enter your password.
