Hey guys
Really need help on this issue

I have seen videos on youtubr in which people connect therr phones with ipads and import photos to ipad

Now i have recently purchased a lightning to usb 3 camera adapter for my ipad air 3 and when i connect my s7 ( micro usb) to it and select ptp for photos the import option appears in gallery but after few seconds it disappear

And when i connect my one plus 7t ( which have usb c ) and select ptp for import then it shows the import column in photos but it says that there are no photos for import

How to solve this issue
Is this coz its ios 13 or is it cos it requires direct usb c to c contact like i have seen in various videos in which ipad pro 2018 with usb c connects to usb c phones or camers and shows photos to import

Any advice ??

Have you tried updating to the latest version of iPadOS?

I haven't gotten file transfer to work from my OnePlus 6T to iPad Pro gen 2 through the USB 3.0 to lightning adapter either. Selecting PTP or File Transfer on the phone end does nothing but pop up the Import option in Photos but no photos show up. My guess on the PTP side is paths of image storage aren't what the iPad is expecting.

My preferred workaround is to use cloud storage of some kind; personally I use Google Photos for all of my photo storage but I understand that others may have concerns over the use of it or other cloud services.

In a video on youtube i saw a man connecting its pixel 3 xl directly with usb c to c cable with its ipad pro 2018 and accessing photos i guess it doesnt work with lightning on one side
