I just bought a APC Battery Backup ES350 for my iBook G4, running OSX 10.4.9. I plugged the UPS into a USB port and OS recognized it.

But, I can't control some of the settings; OS has ghosted them out.

Energy Saver looks like this:

Suggestions on how to fix this?

Do you have PowerChute 1.3.3? I haven't used one of these products, but maybe that app overrides these settings or perhaps it includes a driver to let you use these settings. Sorry mate, no experience here so I'm just guessing.

I didn't install powerchute. I thought OSX would handle it automatically. Anyone know?
