I run service at a new Apple reseller and we are trying to figure out an easy way to deploy OSX and included apps onto computers that have had hard drives replaced, erased, and otherwise warranting an install.
From what I understand Apple uses images to do said installs and not a massive library of discs. Oddly, nobody seems to know how to do it and until now I've never bothered to try.

I've got two Firelite drives (one for PPC and one for Intel) that are each partitioned in half. That can be changed to whatever works though.

Basically, I want to a) boot off of one partition and copy an image on the other partition to the system HDD or b) boot off of an image on the drive into the OSX installer.
