HELP...

So I had a break in projects and finally decided to upgrade. Now when I restart I get a System Pref panel that says Update Required. I click the blue selection box and nothing happens.
CUDA Driver Version: 396.148
GPU Driver Version: 355.11.10.10.40.102

I went ot Nvidia website and downloaded this CUDA Mac Driver
Latest Version: CUDA 396.148 driver for MAC
Release Date: 07/09/2018

Installed it but I still get the error. I also updated Premiere Pro and have been getting endless spinning beach balls.

About this mac:
High Sierra 10.13.6
27inch iMac late 2013
3.4GHz core i5
16GB Ram
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M 2048 MB

I did just note that the CUDA driver requires that GeForce for Mac be installed prior to CUDA driver installation. Did you have that installed first?

Otherwise everything you posted here seems to be good.

Late to the Game here, but I had the same problem. Nvidia driver manager said I had the latest Driver 387.10.10.40.105 but CUDA said I had an earlier version & I had the update required notice
I downloaded the Driver but directly from Nvidia, installed it (Had to open Security & Privacy & allow install), and after the restart the latest Driver showed in the CUDA Panel & no more Notice!
