Need help determining which processor to order. I've already decided on the 27" model, but am wondering if I will see the benefits of upgrading to either the 3.1 or even the i7 and if the cost is justified.
I plan on having windows 7 running through parallels to to access imaging software (radiology/cardiology) that is windows specific, utilizing iWork and iLife apps, and connecting to my two appletv's (atv1 with xbmc, and atv2).
I also plan on using handbrake to rip my dvd's into itunes and to watch hulu/netflix.
I will be upgrading the memory (from owc) with either processor.
It'll be replacing a powermac 2.5DP and a t5500 dell box.
