I've already looked at "how to read panic logs" and it was confusing, I've had multiple panics before but I reformated the laptop. Since than I've only had one, can you read this and tell me what is wrong? thanks!!

thanks for the fast reply, was there something wrong with the cache that cause the kernel panic in my mbp? how do I prevent this from happening again in the future?

I dont want to hijack this thread, but i noticed that my kernel log looks very similar to this, can someone point out on the OP's log the line that shows you the cause of the kernel panic? this may also be useful to the OP as well

Yes I too would like to know how to find the root of the cause and if you could point out the line, this would be good for future references if I get another kernel panic

Bump, sorry, but I got another kernal panic, I checked the hardware using the installation discs, I tried third party software to check if there were any problems with the software, but everything was fine, I also repaired disk permissions using disk utility. Here are the logs, can someone please point out what the main culprit is that caused the kernal panic?? Here are the logs:

Your second kernel panic indicates an issue with the video card.

What are you doing when these happen?
    What external devices are connected?
    What are the hardware specs?
Is it Apple RAM or 3rd party RAM?

I have a MacBook Pro 2.4Ghz i5 ...I was just scrolling through my Mac Mail, nothing was connected during both the kernel panics, I do have third party ram installed, the brand is mushkin. I suspected it was the ram at first, but I ran the apple hardware test and third party app rember, both says there's nothing wrong

Macs are NOTORIOUSLY picky about RAM, and hardware tests don't always suss out the problems, particularly the Apple hardware test (I sometimes wonder if it would figure out that the laptop was on fire if there was a test for that).

My suggestion would be to go back to your original RAM and test for a couple weeks. If the kernel panics go away, then it's quite probably that it's your 3rd party RAM. From there, you have to slowly and methodically re-introduce the 3rd party RAM to try and figure out which stick might be the issue.
