I exhaled/sighed onto my macbook (which was resting on my chest) and then it suddenly restarted! No idea what could have caused it, it wasn't hot or anything; I was just browsing the 'net.

I had another kernel panic today. I realise no one really gives a toss on here but if someone could just tell me the relevant bits to look at so I can decipher my problem by myself I'd be very much obliged to you.

I have an SSD and optibay setup, my mac was suspended all day but when I turned it on at 1505 it KP'd and rebooted itself. Not sure if it's the hardware or some other settings I have.

Posting what OS X version you're using and what model MBP you have would help us help you.

Scrolling quickly through it seems like a GPU issue.

Apologies, I forgot I had removed it from my sig after a few snarky comments.

I have a mid 2012 15" cMBP with an nVidia 650M running Mavericks 10.9.5 (funnily enough the same as yours, albeit with a Samsung 850 Pro and 16GB of Crucial RAM)

Do you have any advice on how to read these problem reports?

The screen was purple when I lifted the screen and it woke from sleep.

I have disabled hibernation to save on wear for my SSD, should I reenable it in your opinion?
