I've seen people complain to companies that provided products for free. Apple could cut the costs of their systems in half and they'd still get people claiming that the products are overpriced.
Covering accidents that occur is the responsibility of insurance companies, not the companies that build products. The warranty is a guarantee that there are no flaws from their end. If you wreck something yourself and then pass it off to the company to pay for then you are shifting responsibility. You can justify it how ever you like, but that is what it comes down to. You're not going to convince anyone who thinks it's wrong that you're in the right, so why do you keep trying to justify yourself to the forum?
