What are your thoughts?
I bought a 2009 unibody macbook that has an issue with the LCD. The problem is always visible on the laptop, starts as soon as it is turned on.

I performed the apple hardware tests and the LCD issue is still visible, but all the tests passed fine (left overnight looping).

I have noticed a very slight dent on the metal cover (back of the lcd).

Output to external display works normal with no issues.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm not sure if the LVDS could have been damaged, or disconnected from the dent or if the LCD is damage.

Thanks

Logic board/Graphics chip, or failing display. Those would be my guesses.
