Hello, please help me!

After reading about many people using invisible shield I decided to put on on my Air. After I turned it on though, it looked like the screenshots below.

I was so careful with the water, but I'm assuming some must have gotten in?? Is that the case and WHAT CAN I DO?? 🙁🙁

If your suggestion is to take it to a genius, do you think I should take off the shield so I can claim ignorance??

Thanks in advance!

I don't know. Let me ask you this. Have you tried removing the shield? I dont' really like to put those kinds of shields. It might protect your display but there's a risk display quality will go down.

Definitely remove the IS and bring the MBA back to Apple store.

I sprayed lots of solution on my shield to the point it was dripping, and I even sprayed some on the MBA. No problem in my case. Something is wrong with your screen.

On the IS website, they recommend you remove all IS before sending your equipment for repair. Just retain all removed pieces, IS will ship you a new set.

Took it into a Genius. Left the skin on with the intention to claim ignorance about any possible water damage 😉

Anyhow, Genius says it's the logic board that's wonky, so a new one has been ordered and everything should be covered under warranty. I'm so relieved!

BTW, the IS is GREAT! Highly recommend!
