What ever looks best to you is the correct resolution. Some like high res, 1600 by 1200, while others like it lower like 1024 by 768. Its all a matter of preference. PB can handle as large as you can get. I hooked by iBook up to a 40 inch plasma screen today, and it worked just fine. In the Preferences, open Displays, and I believe you can change resolutions there.

Its not the powerbook you should worry about. What is the native resolution of the lcd tv? Find out and use that when hooked to it so you get the best quality possible.
