For all of you that mentioned the tripped sensor, my sensor tripped on the charging one but the one in the jack has not and no my phone hasn't seen water at all just work in a humid environment at times.

You haven't dunked your iPhone in a bowl full of water and human waste, so your situation is different. This teacher on the other hand, probably has very appropriately tripped water sensors on his.

You should have just flushed it down the toilet.

But on another note.. Will it blend?

Yuck!

Please tell the genius about the poo up front so that they can get a hazardous materials suit before handling your iphone. :)

Teachers are overpaid anyway, just go and spend the $199 for a non warranty replacement.

I'm 41 years old and I teach at school. I've owned black iPhone 4 since day 1 and find it indispensable, esp. for teachers. Alas, yesterday I dropped it in the toilet bowl full of poo. Do you think they will allow me to exchange it for the white iPhone 4 since it's still within warranty? Also, should I tell 'em the truth as to why it's not working? Any other tricks I can play to make them give me the white one? Please, advise.

Just go to a store and tell them what happened. Don't try to trick them in any way and you might get lucky.
By the way, did I tell you that you shouldn't be using an iPhone near a toilette?

Apple has replaced my water damaged iphone in the past.

Just have to keep at it. Sometimes you get a sympathetic person and theres always the one time exception to every rule!

why would you want a white one when you have a brown one??

lol!

@ op

why were you playing with your iphone in a toilet and how on earth did you drop it in? were you taking a picture of your steamy stinky dump?

I hope you have the decency to tell them the truth so they know to put gloves on before handleing it!!! Just don't be a dick. The trick to getting the white iPhone is to just slip them $599 and they will get you the phone from the back room. If you are really a teacher, act like one.

If you pour a load of bleach in the toilet bowl it will turn your black phone white....
