Hello,

I am using Wordpress for a blog and want to embed a video.

What I did was take my camcorder video, converted it to an H.264 format in the Adobe Media Converter. I then uploaded it to Photobucket which converted it to to an FLV and gave me the HTLM to embed it in the blog. Is this the best way to do it? Wordpress only allows files up to 4 Mb in size, so that is why I need to host the video somewhere.

If that is good. Where are the best places to host videos?

You pretty much answered your own question, generally, most people will have their video elsewhere.
Is this a custom Wordpress site or one from Wordpress.com? Another option is to upload your videos to your server and link to them there.

as to other video sharing sites
Youtube is another option, or Vimeo. I'm sure theres more, but these are the two off the top of my head.

thanks!

YouTube is better than photobucket, because YouTube is both computer and iPhone OS compatible (AKA they make both flash and mp4 versions of the video).
