Hello, I have the Black Macbook 13" (from mid 2007). Model A1181. I think it was the 2.16Ghz, 160GB. OSX 10.4. I need help finding what Logic boards work with my Mac. Mine is broken and I need to replace. I will be looking at used or at least ones on ebay to minimize the cost.

From the research that I have done. It looks like I can used any of the following:
661-5033 2.4GHz
661-4397 2.16GHz Black
661-4220 2.0 GHz black

Just want confirmation please.

Thank you

*update* Upon further review I believe that I have found the Logic Board number. On the board itself it lists 820-1889-A??

Sound correct. I do get hits when I google it.

I guess my question is what is interchangeable with this?

You can use any of the logicboards up to the Santa Rosa models introduced November 2007. Most of these boards have the number 820-1889A on them.

You cannot fit the 2.4, 2.2, 2.1 or 2.0GHZ Santa Rosa models without fitting a new bottom case, heatsink fan, speakers and more.

The logicboards for the black models have black usb ports so a logicboard from a white MacBook might look odd.....

Best idea is to replace with a 2.16 black board since you already have the fastest board that will fit in your MacBook
