Hello all,

I am trying to help a kid teenager in our youth group. He dropped his phone (in a case), but the screen seems to be damaged. Nothing was cracked externally, but the picture below shows what the phone looks like right now.

Apparently, the phone screen was replaced 4-6 months ago by a third party vendor (single man "iPhone fixer" shop in the middle of the mall). The vendor is no longer in the area. BTW, I did not recommend the third party repair...

Please advise what you think I should do?

I have the tools (pentalobe screwdrivers, spudgers, etc.), but I've never trouble shot an iPhone 6.

From my experience, the screen under the glass has cracked. The screen would need replacing!
