So I've been trying to install a Kingston 128GB SSD and install onto my MBP. Now I'm pretty good with computers, but this drive will not recognize on the desktop and when it shows up in disk utility, I cannot do anything with it. I tried to format using Erase, but I get the error POSIX: Operation could not be completed Device not Configured. I have also tried to format it through terminal using diskutil commands. I tried linux to get it started to maybe be recognized as a mass storage device, I have tried utilities like DiskWarrior and such and also every combination of partition and unpartitioning my drive. But to no avail. Do you guys have any idea what to do? Or do I have to call Kingston?
