My friend who I helped switched over to Mac has been having a lot of trouble with her MacBook. It constantly crashes and Closes Word or any Office program when she goes to Save. Also in Mail when she goes to attatch a file it crashes, and Pages won't even start up.

It's something very odd happening that I can't seem to solve.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some logs from the Console...

It seems some system resources are missing from your friend's macbook. Whenever you open office, pages etc these apps fail to locate these necessary resources hence the frequent crashes.

I dont know how easy it is to identify and reinstall the missing resources but i assure you there may be other missing currently that you have yet to find out. Therefore if I'm rectifying this I would reinstall OS X and all the apps. This is by far the least problem free and time consuming way to ensure full system availability.

Backup her data before she does so.
