I have an imac with lion and bootcamp windows 7, i keep getting messages telling me parallels has an update, if i hit install it comes back saying

Windows 7 uses an NTFS-formatted Boot Camp partition and cannot be suspended.

Software allowing reading and writing to NTFS partitions has been found on your Mac. To be able to suspend Windows 7, remove any such software from your Mac.

Is there a way around this, I don't even know what software on the mac is doing this much less want to start removing stuff on the mac side.

I believe you just need to shutdown your windows vm instance. Not suspend it
