    It uses linux commands/scripts

for the date you can use: date +"%A %B, %d %Y"
for the time you can use: date +"%l:%M %p"

    Date script broken

I just downloaded GeekTool and it appears it won't run any date scripts. I've tried running every single one that was posted here and none of them work. However, when running them in terminal, they work fine (like they are supposed to).

Yet I can run an echo script. Im thinking there is something wrong with the program. Unless somebody else has a solution?

For reference Im running OS 10.7.1 with version 3.0.2 of GeekTool.

You really should read and (if not already answered) post these questions in the Geektools thread in the Mac OS X forum....there's TONS of info in that thread.
