Hi guys, i need help!

my iphone 3gs is disabled and it tells me to connect to itunes, but i did not generate any backups before, not once
so doing a restore will lose all my pictures and contacts O_O

now i did some research and someone said i could get past the passcode by deleting something like /mobile/Library/Preferences/com.apple.springboard.plist

how can i do that?
or is there any alternative i can get my phone back and running?

btw my iphone is not jailbroken

I don't think deleting that file would do it, plus if you're not jailbroken then there is not a chance in hell of getting to it.

Looks like you're going to have to grin and bear it.
