Help : How to only migrate (or copy paste) iTunes & iPhoto?

my girlfriend got a new mac last week, we would like to share all our songs and photos in the iphoto... and ONLY that, how do I go about doing it?

I ruled out migration asisstant as it migrates everything else

I tried using CCC and move the iphoto & itunes over but nothing comes out of it...

Any ideas ?

Copy the iTunes folder over and the iPhoto folder over.

it doesnt seem to work.... think got to modify the "library" folder as well... which i dun know how...

You don't. You just need to copy the folder over. make sure the apps are shut at the time.

For iPhoto, do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1229

For iTunes, do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1449

But, obviously, don't delete the original from the "host" computer. Or you could use an external hard drive, follow the instructions above to move the libraries there, and then each just access them from the external. Then there would be only one library for each of iTunes and iPhoto. Always in sync.
