I've been working on this all morning and afternoon and don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have a 2011 MBA and an iPhone 6+. All I want to do is sync contacts to my MBA so I have a copy should I text or call via my MBA.

I've tried watching youtube videos and troubleshooting through the apple support pages. I've followed the step by step instructions and still none of my contacts on my iPhone appears in the contacts folder of my MBA. I have signed into iCloud, signed out of it, it says it syncing over-the-air without allowing me to check a box (to sync) and nothing appears in my MBA CONTACTS. I see the Contacts icon, but I don't see anything that makes sense.

Help..LOL. I'm going crazy. Thank you

It turns out, according to the Genius Bar at Apple, that my contacts is sync to my yahoo mail account, which doesn't allow contacts to back-up to my MBA CONTACTS folder. I have to sign into Yahoo, go to settings and export contacts into my MBA desktop and from desktop import into CONTACTS.

Thank you Apple.
[doublepost=1528926598][/doublepost]Actually, I figured out a better way to sync (for those in a similar predicament). Go to System Preferences > Internet Accounts > Sign-into Email Account > Tic Contacts. This will sync contacts directly into OS Contacts Folder.

You're welcome.
