HELP!!! I Deleted partition on my macbook

I accidentally deleted the partition on my macbook, it had tiger on it, i have no original disk with the macbook. How do i reinstall OSX back on the macbook? i have a copy of Leopard, but it wong boot at startup. HELP PLEASE!!! Thanx

Did you hold down the 'C' key after the boot tone to boot off of the DVD?

To install Leopard put the disk in and press C as the computer boots.


Did you have any important data on there?

How did you do that?

I downloaded a copy of Leopard its a sparseimage, does anyone know what settings i would use to burn with Disk Utility and be able to boot at startup?

Why not buy a good copy of Leopard.
