Over the hills and far away...
Ok, so I downloaded an e-book and I need Adobe Digital Editions....and of course I did not notice that 10.5 was not supported..

So my question is: are there any Leopard compatible ebook apps that support Adobe's file type (the .etd file)

Thanks in advance

I just downloaded Adobe Reader 8 and every time I open up the .etd file it just opens up Safari with a page linking to Digital Edition... which will not download, I cannot find a link anywhere

Same situation here

I'm in the exactly same situation - no idea when Adobe is going to get around to fixing it. Are there any alternative programs?

Just had this problem myself. Here's the way around it:-

Download the DE 1.5 Beta from the Adobe Labs site here. Install it. Make sure your default browser is set to Safari. Then click on the ETD file and all should load in happily.

Absolutely effing painful, but very typical of Adobe's current attitude....
