I don't understand what this means? Could someone please tell me what I need to do to make it go away?

It means that, whatever you are trying to access in Firefox is using Flash and their flash is running slow/slow to start. Firefox will let you stop Flash from running to stop the browser from crashing. You can try a reinstall of Adobe Flash Player, but I don't think that will help very much.
