Hi,

I have an Iphone 3GS:

version: 4.2.1 (8C148a)
Carrier: AT&T
Model:MC136LL
Modem Firmware: 06.15.00

I also saved Shs's with tinyumbrella:

iphone3GS 4.1 (8B117)-3217838224653
iphone 4.2.1 (8C148a)- 3217838224653

I was in the middle of restoring to stock 4.1 and now the iphone only boots to the screen where I see only a logo of itunes and a USB cable. I put the iphone in DFU mode and open I tunes it detects my iphone and wants to upgrade it to iOS 4.2 is this the correct way to restore my iphone ???please help me !!
what to do??

thanks a lot !

After using the IPad 6.15 baseband, you can not restore with the official stock firmware. You can only restore with a custom firmware file. That's one of the WARNING of using the iPad baseband. Google for instructions on how to restore.
