Help! I need the highest quality yet compatible Handbrake Preset!

The gang is here... Working on a commercial in the field this week. Let me know how the blu-ray transfer goes at 1920x1080. what is the file size? I have started buying movies from iTunes so I can get the biggest file size. They have a tendicy to be a bit more expensive...

File size is running 5-9GB depending on the movie and length. I'm not sure why two movies of the same length and picture dimensions can vary so much, but they do seem to be all over the map. The smaller ones I do are around 1gb in SD. I'm gonna buy an 8TB drive and RAID 1 store all this. Anyone have a better idea? Movies in HD are looking great streamed on Apple tv! Really happy so far with the results. I'll actually finally use this media again.

9gig... Thats the same size as a blu-ray disc... Are the new large size files playing on your iDevices ok?

The files on the Blu ray itself range from 12-40gb usually... So the 9 gb is scaled down, but yes so far they are all streaming with little buffering and look great! Most of them are coming out around 5gb.

The smaller versions from the universal setting sre usually 1-3gb and play on iOS decices ok. The big ones are for the atv
