Where the Air Force sends me
I've had my iMac a little over a year and haven't been using it sense i bought my MBP... I decided to start fresh with it and erase the entire thing... at least i tried to.

I reinstalled snow leopard and now i'm missing the iLife 09 suite. how the heck do i get it back? I'm willing to reinstall or do anything I need to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think it should be on a separate disc that came with your computer

When I bought my iMac, about two weeks later Leopard was released. I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard and thats the only disc i can find. Are there any other options with the upgrade snow leopard disc I have to retrieve iLife?

Getback Ilife

Hey For Installing ILIFE u would need to use Leopard disc and install using Bundled softwares .

So I'm pretty sure I made a BIG MISTAKE... I sold my old 13" MacBook and gave my original copy of Leopard to the buyer. I had my SNOW LEOPARD upgrade disc and didn't think I needed the leopard disc anymore. It was a full version of lepard i paid like $120 for it. How badly do I need those discs...

The Leopard/Snow Leopard upgrade discs don't include iLife.

iLife is on the restore DVDs that come w/ the Mac (or you can buy an iLife upgrade separately). If you sold your MacBook, as long as you didn't give him your iMac's recovery discs (which wouldn't work on a MacBook anyway), you should be fine.

If you did, you can either call AppleCare and see if they can sell you another copy of the recovery discs, or just go buy a new copy of iLife. There's a chance iLife '10 will be released today, so if you were planning on updating anyway, you won't end up wasting the money.

Oh....

Cause we can install ILIFE using the Leopard disc ... or you can check with snow leopard first disc --Bundled softwares .if u couldn find it then u have to use leopard disc .. :(

Would someone be willing to walk me through the process of using my snow leopard disc to restore my iMac to its original state. I'm not worried about ANYTHING on the hard drive. I just want to start over and I'll purchase iLife 10 when it comes out...

Sorry for all the trouble and thank you to all for the help :D

Make sure u have the Back up and Unplug all the External Devices -like printer , External hard drives .USB sticks .

1)Can you insert the disc in the Computer and Restart the Computer and hold down letter C .

2)U will get a screen which asks u select english .

3)Then click continue

4)License screen--Agree

5)Then select a Destination -Select the HDD

Since u want to format the drive select the Utilities and Selct Disk utility and then select the HDD and click erase on the left hand side .
then select erase

6)Once it is done close Disk utility -in the select the destination field -select the HDD and Click install

That will install the new snow Leopard .

That's fine. I have iLife on my MBP. I'll wait for iLife 10 to come out...

Well unless iLife has drastically changed in the last few version you can just drag iPhoto etc across to /Applications/ and look in /Library/Application Support/ for the themes etc and copy them too...
