Was with a friend with an iPhone that when she would type into a text message in the Messages app, it would repeat every word she typed out loud. Can't see to find it anywhere. Anyone have any idea what app it is?

I dont think its an app but a stock ios option that reads the word out loud when the phone autocorrects a typo.

its in iOS (I believe only available on iPhone 4s) in settings under:
settings>accessibility>voiceover
under the accessibility menu you can also set a triple click of the home button to toggle it on/off so you can quickly switch out of it. I personally have mine set to switch to an inverted color scheme for fun
