Hey guys! I'm buying a sealed iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Jet Black from a private seller. I only have two major problems. I wanna make sure it's factory unlocked, and that it has FaceTime.

The seller says that on the back of the phone box it says "Approved in all EU countries". Does that mean it was sold in the EU? And that it has FaceTime?

I checked this iPhone's IMEI. ICloud and blacklists statuses are clean. Find my iPhone is off.

On IMEIPro.info, Tech support and warranty is active. But on iPhoneIMEI.info, it says that the warranty has expired. What gives?

When I searched the IMEI on IMEIPro, I got the serial number. Checked it on apple's warranty page. It says "please activate your iPhone". Does that mean it's genuinely sealed and hasn't been activated?

The model shows up as A1784.

Is this factory unlocked? Please help :(

some advice- how did you meet this private seller? Will it be a face to face transaction?

Make clear those are you 2 conditions for purchase.

I would not worry re facetime- but for certainty - bring 2 different sims to test (ie o2 and vodafone). If seller is selling it cheap in the UK - highly likely it was a network upgrade!

I'm at the deal right now and it's getting signal. It's stuck at "It may take a few minutes to set up your Apple ID"

I live outside the U.K. The phone got cellular signal and finally signed into iCloud. Looks like it's fine.
