Help - iMac with broken screen

Dunno if i posted in the the right thread..... but can an imac still work if i smashed the screen? any help would be appreciated

Going to depend on the extent of the damage, but probably? Connected to another display that is.

Do you mean the glass, or the display itself?

The short answer is yes, you can attach a second monitor for video via the thunderbolt port. Assuming, as mentioned, the damage is only to the screen.

A cracked front glass might not affect the operation of your iMac at all, if the actual display panel is not broken.
