Help! iMovie has not been set up?

Hello ,
I've been trying transfer video from Quick time player to imovie to edit
but it's keeping popup
( iMovie has not been set up )
i think i have delete some folder other day 🙁 and i need to edit my project so bad , any help ?

Is this something new in Quicktime Player? I have v10.0 and can't see an option there.

Why not just Import the video into iMovie via the File Menu>Import>Movies option.

Seems it's to do with 'sharing' to iMovie from QuickTime Player.

It also seems that the shared iMovie folders need to be re-created by iMovie for it to work.
