Dave Braine macrumors 601 Jul 7, 2013 #3 I've been trying transfer video from Quick time player to imovie to edit Click to expand... Is this something new in Quicktime Player? I have v10.0 and can't see an option there. Why not just Import the video into iMovie via the File Menu>Import>Movies option.

MacTech68 macrumors 68020 Jul 7, 2013 #4 Seems it's to do with 'sharing' to iMovie from QuickTime Player. It also seems that the shared iMovie folders need to be re-created by iMovie for it to work. See the following posts on Apple's Discussion forum for solutions that appear to work: https://discussions.apple.com/message/18761038#18761038
