I have an iPod touch 2G running on 2.2.1, I'm looking to jailbreak my touch, but have seen that battery life drops and such. I also am looking for the right way to jailbreak my iPod, I saw that the dev team said about a iPod touch 2G release, but have found no way of getting the software to jailbreak. Could someone please help me? 🙁 I'm so lost on what to do.

Nope, 2G support still hasnt been added to either Pwnagetool or Quickpwn 🙁

Having jailbroken my iPod touch 2g three times, I must say it is NOT worth it. The only real upside for a person with little to mid level computer knowledge is themes, and they slow down the iPod. I jailbroke, tried it for 2 weeks each time, and eventually went back to stock firmware. It just wasn't worth it for me.
