Resolved Help Initializing sm951 512gb 5.1

Just installed a sm951 512gb onto a lycom board and the drive is not showing up in disk utility. Is there something else i'm supposed to do? In the system report it says the nvme driver is not installed. I thought these didn't need a driver. Also i wan't to boot off the sm951 is that possible?

The NVMe version will not be seen by OS X without the NVMe driver. AHCI versions work without the need for any additional drivers.
