Help installing Gimp plug-ins

Can anyone tell me how to install downloaded plug-ins in Gimp?😕

Are you using Gimp.app or some other build?

For the above, ctrl-click its icon, show package contents, and you'll find the plugins directory as Contents/Resources/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins
