Hi. Requesting some assistance from the community. I have a 2012 Mac Pro 5,1. I have a 1TB SSUBX on PCIe slot 3 as boot. I have a 2TB 960 Pro on PCIe slot 4 that I would like to use as secondary. The drive is recognized on 10.13, but I can't get it to work on Sierra. Currently on 10.12.6 (16G29).

Steps I've completed so far:
- Downloaded the driver from MacVidCards (http://www.macvidcards.com/nvme-driver.html)
- Moved the kext file from root/library/extensions
- Executed the nvme-cli file that was included in the MacVidCards package
- Downloaded a kext patcher and dragged the kext into it

Negative so far. I found the github page (https://github.com/RehabMan/patch-nvme) that has the update for 16G29 revision. It says, "add patch file for Sierra 10.12.6 (build 16G29)". When I go to the link, it has a set of codes. I'm not sure where to input that code.

I recognize there is a thread for NVMe, but the basic instructions at the beginning of the thread has not worked out for me. Can somebody guide me through this?

I've used the Github method for Sierra thru to 10.12.6 , and haven't had too many problems.

Check out this link (post 43) for the steps I followed.
