Please help. I can't find instructions/downloads.
I don't think 8.0 is still being signed.
I thought it was anything before 8.0.0 but who knows with Apple.
No, nothing pre 8.0.2 is being signed. There is no way downgrade.
Why do you want to downgrade? 8.0.2 has bug fixes.
I wouldn't mind a good downgrade
Various iOS firmware tracking sites, like http://api.ineal.me/tss/status, seem to imply that 8.0 is still being signed.
According to this source, 8.0 and 8.0.2 are both being signed.
Where can I download 8 and how do It get it to load instead of 8.0.2?
Don't think we can point to specific websites that allow download of software but just google 'iOS 8 download'
Force recovery mode (turn off phone, hold home button while plugging in Lighting cord), download 8.0 IPSW file (Google/Bing 'iOS 8.0 direct download') and force restore (hold Option on Mac or Shift in Windows while clicking Restore to choose the file).
Does it need iTunes open or anything?
sigh just download the ipsw then hold shift, click update in itunes..& back up first before doing anything as always..
Sure you can. If its public and not behind a developer login.

It's option+click on Mac.
It worked! Thanks all!
