    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

This morning I plugged my iPad in for charging as I assume it must have ran out or something, I go to check on it, and on the screen it simply has a picture of the cord and the iTunes logo asking to be plugged into iTunes.

I do this, still shocked about why it's doing this, but when I do, iTunes asks me to unlock the iPad before syncing. Obviously I can't do this.

    Help?

Try putting it in DFU mode. That should def clear this up.

do you mean forcing it to restart then pressing the home button?

I have tried this and it doesnt work. It goes to the screen with the itunes logo and the cord but it is still asking for the passcode entry
