Help iPad Mini won't activate in iTunes

My Wifi only ipad mini won't activate in iTunes I restored it and now it won't activate it says your ipad could not be activated because the server cannot be reached and on iTunes it says we could not complete your iTunes Store request the network connection was reset and yes before you ask I have reset my router an my Internet is fine

Be patient. The Apple servers are overloaded since a gabillion people are trying to update their iOS and/or iTunes.

Try later tonite.

Thats the price you pay for updating when the whole world is updating at the same time. It might take hours to get it to activate.
