HELP! iphone 4 stuck in recovery mode

i have an iphone 4 showing only a black screen. I did drop it from like half a foot up while jogging. I tried a hard reset and the first two times the phone reacted but went black again. I plugged it into itunes, and nothing still. it is completely unresponsive.
any ideas?😕
