Help! Iphone pop-up on safari app

I visited a website on my iphone on the safari app and this pop up add come up saying I "won a prize" I don't want to click okay because I don't want to harm my iphone etc. How can I force restart the app. I've already tried quitting and restarting the iphone.

Can iphone be infected as well?

Thank you for the reply. On another note, I've noticed fuzz white lines on the edge when clicking the tap that shows all the pages you've opened on safari, any idea why I'm getting these white lines along the edge?
